OTHER INFORMATION:
This audiophile LP is a superb example of an early UKpressing of one of the rarest classical records from the early 1960's. Both vinyl surfaces and labels look impeccably clean and unplayed. There are no spindle marks on the labels at all. There are a couple of minor surface marks which have no effect on the sound whatsoever. To make sure I have listened to both sides at high level on a quality system. The recordings are of stunning audiophile quality, unsurpassed by any re-issues. Despite some rumors to the contrary the quality of this EMI manufactured UK pressing is every bit as good, if not better than the equivalent USA version.
The sleeve shows almost no signs of age whatsoever - as if it had just left the factory.
A small rectangular sticker is attached to one label: Factory Sample - Not For Sale.
Factory samples were always taken from the very first batch of the production runs. This virgin vinyl would always be of the highest possible quality with audible superiority in purity of the original recorded sound when directly compared to pressings which were made towards the end of a factory run. |
This record has been carefully checked, visually and play graded.
If in any doubt feel free to ask questions.
